Actor Vijay Sethupathi had announced last year that he will working on a project named Tughlaq Durbar during the 100 days function of 96, and that this movie will be produced by 7 Screen Studio which helped release 96 after initial issues.

This movie is directed by debutant Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan who had also acted in small roles in several movies like Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. It was announced yesterday that actor R Parthiepan who had acted with Vijay Sethupathi in Naanum Rowdythaan will act in Tuglaq Durbar.

While we had reported yesterday that Aditi Rao Hydari might play the female lead in this movie it has now been made official that she will be the heroine of this political satire which will also have a tinge of fantasy in it.
