Vijay Sethupathi was initially supposed to act in Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chadda, but opted out of it, and now the actor will be making his debut with the Bollywood remake of Maanagaram directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. This remake is directed by ace cinematographer Santhosh Sivan.

The title of this Maanagaram Bollywood remake will be revealed on January 1 at 3 PM. This movie also stars Vikrant Massey, Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Tanya Maniktala, Sachin Khedekar and many others.
