The first look poster of 'Seethakathi' has been released by its makers as a true treat for the fans of the film's lead actor Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi that too on his birthday. 

The poster features Vijay Sethupathi as a old man with complete white hair and wearing specs. Clad in veshti and kurta, the actor is sitting on a resting chair with a book on his hand in this black and white poster. 

Though Vijay Sethupathi has already played a old man in his 'Orange Mittai', his getup for 'Seethakathi' has surprised many and it is being widely shared in social media. Many feel that Vijay Sethupathi's look resembles veteran Tamil writer Ki.Rajanarayanan fondly addressed as Ki.Ra.

It must be noted that 'Seethakathi' is the 25th film of Vijay Sethupathi and it is being directed by Balaji Tharanitharan/ The actor and director have earlier delivered the hilarious super hit comedy 'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom'.

Vijay Sethupathi apparently plays a theatre artist in this film. The film also stars Parvathy, Remya Nambeesan and Gayathri among others. Govind Menon has provided music for this film.
