Actor badly wants to play Vijay Sethupathi's character in '96' remake

Vijay Sethupathi has a knack for touching his viewers emotionally, with a casual ease. No doubts there. When his latest trailer of ‘96’ along with Trisha came out, we were just stunned by it. Guess who else was stunned – Nani and Samantha.
Even before its theatrical release in Tamil Nadu, producer Dil Raju has bought the rights for the film for Telugu remake. Reportedly, the producer had made Nani and Samantha as well to watch the movie and the duo liked it. Word is that Nani even shed tears post a special screening arranged in the city.
The hot buzz is that he will be essaying Vijay Sethupathi’s role in the Telugu version starring alongside Samantha. Well, it would be great to watch Nani in this avatar, won’t it?
