Vijay Sethupathi to play villain to another big hero after Thalapathy 64

Vijay Sethupathi is fast becoming the most sought after star actor not only in Tamil cinema but also in Telugu and Hindi as well. He belongs to the rare breed of one who only cares about the novelty in his characters and does not mind leaning towards the grey or sharing screen space with other big stars. At the start of this year VJS played Superstar Rajinikanth's villain in 'Petta' and surprised many by accepting the baddie role opposite Vijay in 'Thalapathy 64'.

It is now more or less confirmed that the Makkal Selvan will be playing the chief antagonist opposite Allu Arjun in his next movie with the working title 'AA20' to be directed by Sukumar. Reports say that the director has narrated the script which has impressed Vijay Sethupathi and now discussions are on regarding when the dates will be necessary and the remuneration.

Vijay Sethupathi is currently starring in a number of Tamil movies including 'Sanga Thamizhan', 'Laabam', 'Ka Pe Ranasingham', 'Maamanithan', 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' and 'Oh My Kadavule'. He is also doing the Telugu project 'Uppenna' and Aamir Khan's Hindi remake of 'Forrest Gump'. Allu Arjun will soon be seen in 'Ala Vaikunthapuramulo' directed by Trivikram Srinivas and costarring Pooja Hegde, Nivetha Pethuraj, Rajendra Prasad and Jayaram.
