In such a situation, popular Tollywood and Kollywood actress Vijayashanthi, who's well known for her action-packed roles, besides also starring alongside top heroes like Superstar Rajnikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in Mannan and Indran Chandran, today met Sasikala who has been imprisoned at the Parpana Agrahara prison.

It has been expected that during this meeting that lasted an hour, Vijayashanthi might have requested the support of AMMK party from Sasikala for Congress party. It must be noted that earlier, Vijayashanthi had campaigned during the RK Nagar bye-polls for TTV Dinakaran, and had met Sasikala and consoled her after the demise of her husband Natarajan.
