Yesteryear actress Vijayashanthi, it was supposed, would be seen in a cameo in Chiranjeevi's 150th movie. It was widely reported that Chiru was keen on roping in the talented actress, who in early '90s had publicly stated that she won't act with the Megastar in future. It turns out, however, that she is not doing Chiru's film.
Be that as it may, here is the news that Vijayashnathi is going to return in a powerful role. Many years after she became synonymous with playing the fiery cop (many years before Sai Kumar hit like a hurricane in police dress) post Karthavyam, she is going to be seen as a military personnel on a mission.
It's reported that Vijayashanthi is keen on essaying this role no matter what it takes. The project will be produced by her husband.
At a time when none of her contemporaries can only think of playing such roles at this age only in dreams, Vijayashanthi is all set to hit the ground with gusto.
