Hours ago, we reported that Devi Sri Prasad, citing his inability to meet Krish's inflexible deadline for the prestigious historical, has walked out of Gautamiputra Satakarni. There has been a speculation that either MM Keeravani or Maestro Ilaiyaraja could replace DSP.

Our informed sources confirm that Ilaiyaraja has been finalized by Krish in consultation with the Nandamuri hero.

Balayya seems to have preferred Maestro apparently because of the legendary musician's outstanding RR work for the mythological Sri Ramarajyam. We learn that the Maestro has been contacted by the makers, who have been told that he will sign on the dotted line pretty soon.
