As we all know Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Kabali' had a lengthy schedule in Malaysia and the story of the film directed by Pa.Ranjith is actually set in the country.

Now Vikram's next film 'Iru Mugan' is also being shot in Malaysia. The film directed by Anand Shankar of 'Arima Nambi' fame went on floors last week. The film stars Vikram, Nayanthara and Nithya Menen in lead roles.

Vikram, Nithya Menen and Thambi Ramiah are taking part in the first schedule of shoot in Malaysia, a fact which was evident from the pictures released from the shooting spot. Thambi Ramiah reportedly plays the role of a Malaysian cop in the film as he could be spotted wearing a uniform.

A few hours back, the film's cinematographer RD Rajasekhar in his social media page has also updated his working still from the shooting spot in Malaysia.

'Iru Mugan' is being produced by Shibu Thameens,who bankrolled 'Puli' along with P.T.Selvakumar. Harris Jayaraj has been roped into score music for 'Iru Mugan'. .
