According to director Vijay, Vikram Prabhu has transformed himself as the lover Arun and Keerthi and so has Keerthi Suresh as the object of love. The story travels on two planes, one during college days and one in the present with the memories of the past. The A.L.Vijay regulars G.V.Prakash, Nirav Shah and Na Muthukumar take care of the music, camera and lyrics respectively and Idhu Enn Maayam` is produced on behalf of Magic Frames by R.Sarathkumar, Radhika Sarathkumar and Listin Stephen.
