Currently busy with Shankar's 'AI', Vikram has nodded to Gautam Vasudev Menon, for their next entertainer together. Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that the actor will be doing a project with director Dharani. Confirming the film, the tentative title of the same has now been announced as 'Rascal'. Dharani-Vikram combination is a sure success material, as was seen earlier in 'Dhil' and 'Dhool'.

The film promises to be a mass entertainer, as the director has taken extra case while penning down the story, in order to ensure the story is racy and entertaining. The film is to be produced by Ayngaran International. On the other hand, the film with Gautam Menon is produced by Silverline Productions of 'Karikalan' fame. Now with 'I' three quarters complete, Vikram may be taking up the upcoming projects simultaneously, post the completion of the current project. The 'I' team is currently shooting its climax at a hospital in Kilpauk, Chennai.
