With the election for office-bearer posts of Nadigar Sangam scheduled to be held on October 18, the candidates and supporters of Pandavar Ani lead by Vishal and Nasser met the Chennai City Police Commissioner at this office today and sought protection for the ballot boxes.

The proactive step from Pandavar Ani seems to aimed at eliminate mal-practices during the much debated elections.

It is worth remembering that the elections will be conducted under the supervision of former Madras High Court Judge E.Padmanabhan who has been appointed by the Court as the Presiding Officer for the elections.
