Actor Vishal's 'Kaththi Sandai' should have released on November 18 as per the initial plan. But the cash crunch caused by the sudden announcement of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to curb Black Money has affected the film industries and movie release plans in Kollywood as well.

Many Tamil films scheduled for November has been postponed to December. A few days ago Vishal confirmed in his Twitter page that the film directed by Suraaj will not be releasing this month.

Now the Cameo Films banner which has acquired the film's distribution rights in Tamil Nadu has confirmed that the release has been postponed "owing to the current financial crisis"

The new release date is yet to be finalised. While it is widely expected that the film will hit the screens in December a section of media has been reporting that the film may be postponed to January 2017 as the makers want to ensure that the film releases only when the people get rid of the struggle for liquid cash.

We will have to wait for an official announcement on the release date of the film.

'Kaththi Sandai' stars Tamannah as the female lead opposite Vishal. Vaigaipuyal Vadivelu and Soori will be providing comic relief in this action flick. Jagapati Babu and Tarun Arora play the lead villains in the film.
