Kamal’s movies are all Oscar material and they always get nominated themselves in India’s race for Oscar. And this year: Om Prakash Mehra's Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Ritesh Batra's The Lunch Box and Gyan Correa's Gujarati film 'The Good Road” and Kamal’s Vishwaroopam featured in the list of nominees for the year.

However the Gujarati film had the last laugh and was chosen by the panel to be the official entry from India to the Oscars. The movie features Sonali Kulkarni, Keval in the cast and was directed by Gyan Correa. The talk was that, Vishwaroopam just missed the Oscar entry by a few votes.

Well let’s hope Vishwaroopam sequel too will feature enough recognition as its first part for we know Kamal loses no hair in giving the best.
