Thala Ajith was last seen in the rural entertainer Viswasam directed by Siva. The movie which marked the fourth collaboration of Siva and Ajith after Veeram, Vedhalam and Vivegam was released worldwide on January 10 as a Pongal release.

Recently, Viswasam celebrated its 50th day in more than 100 screens with fans allover the state rejoicing the milestone with special shows and celebrations organised in many theatres. Even post it's release in Amazon prime, Viswasam is holding on to 60+ screens.

After its Telugu version release on March 1, now Viswasam is all set to speak Kannada. Viswasam will be released in Kannada as Jaga Malla on March 7 all over Karnataka, and Telugu version of Viswasam will also release in the state on the same day.
