Chennai has a huge illegal betting market. The bookies usually offer odds on anything that is topical and has wide-spread appeal. Cricket and elections are among their favorite options.

But now they are offering tantalizing odds on two films. This season, some enterprising Chennai bookies are offering odds on two films Mumbai Xpress and Chandramukhi.

The bet is on which film will become a hit. Quite unlike cricket, there is a possibility of both the films becoming hits. A case of win-win situation.
