Filmmaker Cheran is looking cheerful after his ‘Pokkisham’, that turned out to be a box office dud, was screened at the Mumbai International Festival that happened recently. The response Cheran got after the movie was screened was in fact good and the exact contrast to what the film received here down South.

We heard that Bollwwood filmmakers had appreciated the actor-turned-director’s ‘Pokkisham’ and insisted him to remake it in Hindi. This has given Cheran a good deal of energy and he might even take up their advice by doing necessary changes to the script to suit the Northy audience.

Meanwhile Cheran has got an offer to act as an anti-hero for director S S Stanley’s one time associate Raja’s film. Looks like Cheran’s well wishers and assistants have recommended him to do a few roles in Hindi to start off.

On the other hand, rumour mongers say that Cheran is growing his hair to do a negative role on Ameer’s ‘Kannabiraan’.

Emmm all is well but, we have to wait and see how audiences take it!
