Nagarjuna's birthday falls on August 29. As he awaits the release of 'DevaDas' on September 27, the actor's fans are looking forward to celebrating his birthday as they do every year.

However, the news of the death of P Ravinder Reddy, late ANR's favourite fans association president and a senior fan respected by the Akkineni family fans alike, has saddened the Akkineni camp. Reddy, who has loyally served as a guide for Akkineni fans groups for at least three decades, has on Saturday died due to cancer.

The death of the enterprising president has happened just a few days ahead of the Nag's birthday. Reddy was always an enthusiastic organizer of Nag's birthdays over several years. Nag himself spent some good moments with Reddy on special occasions. It has to be seen if the 'DevaDas' actor will cancel his birthday celebrations this year as a mark of mourning.
