'Ready' is less than a fortnight away from release and it is pretty much a moment of reckoning that is awaiting the makers here, what with the film being the immediate next release of Salman Khan after 'Dabangg'. His action entertainer that just won a National award for itself was not just the biggest money spinner of 2010 but also the highest grosser ever (over 140 crores just from India) for Salman Khan. It is no surprise that there are expectations of gargantuan scale for 'Ready' as well.

"See, if you get into the entire comparison talks, we should ideally be targeting over 140 crores. After all it is a benchmark now and records are meant to be broken", says Bhushan Kumar, the film's producer, "However I want to take a realistic approach which promises good returns for everyone involved. Honestly I would be happy to see 'Ready' cross the 100 crores mark because it is a very good figure as well."

Bhushan again confirms that setting a 100 crores milestone is not out of insecurity but to keep expectations in check lest one gets disturbed by absence of a few crores here or there.

"Anything more than that and it would be massive celebration for all involved", smiles Bhushan as he gets ready for the Dubai premier of the film.

Globally, the Anees Bazmee directed film releases this Friday.
