Despite the glamorous looks and girl-next-door demeanor, Pranitha has not been able to make it in Telugu. For one, she had a blessing in the form of a film opposite Siddharth. Much to her dismay, Bava tanked at the BO.

What most of us do not know is that she has bounced back in Kollywood. Udayan, the trendy and commercial film, in which she delivered a decent performance, gave her the first break. In no time, she found herself in the film being made with Karthi – Sakuni. This being a Sankranthi release, chances are Pranitha will only gear up for bigger endeavours if she manages to pull off her role.

The good news is that the film will be released in Telugu as well. Talks are on for dubbing it in Telugu and if everything goes well Bellamkonda Suresh will release it in Telugu. The film has familiar faces like Kota Srinivasa Rao, Roja and Radhika, among others.

Pranitha has a great opportunity in this Karthi-starrer; because, coming as it does after Na Peru Shiva, Shakuni stands good chances of opening to impressive reception.
