A very humble and prominent editor of films in this country Suresh Urs was the guest of honor at the prestigious ‘Belli Hejje’ of Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy addressing on the occasion says the win or loss – a director is responsible. Cinema is craftsmanship of a director he expressed.

At the 67th ‘Belli Hejje’ Suresh Urs was felicitated by KCA headed by SV Rajendra Singh Babu. ‘A cinema is a final product from the writing table and then at the editing table’. In case the two works are good, a good cinema comes out. A director and editor are like husband and wife. Any category of cinema there should be a good story he observes.

The startling revelation from 580 films senior film editor Suresh Urs was that the statement of good editor becomes a good director is a wrong notion. It is not possible he observes. On his personal agenda he does not want to become a director. I want to keep up good work as editor throughout my life he says.

I have learnt so many things from my elder brother Sundarakrishna Urs, I have changed from him. He is responsible for my identification today.

KCA Chairman SV Rajendra Singh Babu in his welcome address said patience is very important for editor. Enormous patience is there in Suresh Urs he complimented.

KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu, information director PS Harsha, director P Seshadri, Sidlingu Sridhar and others were present.
