Team 'Ra.One' is elated. The film has been granted 'U' certificate by the Censor Board which means family crowds are pretty much on cards for this Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal starrer. This also translates into the fact that the film would be able to fight piracy in a much bigger way.

Says an insider, "'U/A' or an 'A' certificate typically leads to quite a few parents choosing to watch a film on pirated DVDs so that they don't have to leave their children behind. Since there won't be any such issues with 'Ra.One', a much bigger family audience turnout is expected on the 5 day long Diwali weekend."

Moreover 'Ra.One' is also arriving in 3D which is an added incentive for the film as audience are sure to saviour the experience of watching a mega film like this only in theatres.

"This is definitely a very big news for Shah Rukh Khan and his other investors," says a close associate of the superstar, "In the times when Censor board has given 'A' certificate to quite a few films and 'U/A' to many action flicks, a 'U' certificate for 'Ra. One' is a step in the right direction. Since the film is anyways arriving at a record number of prints, screening being allowed for universal audience would mean far enhanced footfalls."

'Ra.One' releases on Diwali.
