The United States now has the highest number of known cases of coronavirus and has more than 82,000 cases as per reports, thus surpassing China and Italy. As of yesterday, the United States had 82,100 cases and China had 81,782.
There have been more than 520,000 cases reported worldwide. The number of cases in the countries have been changing constantly and it has been said that both the totals and the ranking of countries with respect to the case count might change any time.
It was announced by US officials that the country recorded the highest number of fatalities reported in a single day. 246 new deaths were reported yesterday, bringing the total number of deaths in the United States to 1,195.
