Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X (formerly Twitter), expressed uncertainty regarding Elon Musk's offer to fight Mark Zuckerberg in a cage match. Yaccarino, previously the ad head at NBCUniversal, mentioned in a CNBC interview that the potential cage match might be a lighthearted exchange between Musk and Zuckerberg.

She commented that it remains to be seen if the cage match would actually take place. Additionally, she shared that she had observed Elon Musk's training efforts, implying a level of preparation.

Addressing the recent competition from Meta's Threads, Yaccarino acknowledged the drop in Threads' popularity but cautioned against underestimating competition. She noted, "You can never ever take your eye off the competition because they'll continue iterating... We're focused on what X will be — and it's an entirely different road map and vision."

Elon Musk had previously hinted at a possible non-physical confrontation with the Meta CEO, and doubts have arisen about the cage match's occurrence. Musk's biographer, Walter Isaacson, labeled their exchanges as metaphorical. The ongoing rivalry between Musk and Zuckerberg, fueled by Meta's Threads launch, continues to draw attention.

While discussing the feud and potential match, Yaccarino also stressed the significance of X's distinct direction, highlighting the company's unique trajectory and vision for the future.
