Yogi Babu for several years acted in bit roles but has now become the most sought after comedians in Tamil cinema who is also playing the leading man in several films including 'Panni Kutty', 'Mandela', and 'Puppy'.

Yogi Babu has revealed that he is in talks for a role in Aamir Khan's next Hindi movie and is on the verge of signing it. According to our sources, the project is 'Lal Singh Chaddha' the Hindi remake of Robert Zemeckis's multiple Oscar Award-winning film 'Forrest Gump' that starred Tom Hanks as a mentally challenged person. It is in this movie that Vijay Sethupahti is also playing a parallel lead and now it looks like Yogi Babu is also joining him.
