A woman, identified as Lakshmipriya from Varkala, has been arrested by the police in connection with the attack on a youth who was found naked on the road in Ernakulam. Reports indicate that the youth was in a relationship with Lakshmipriya. After the youth refused to end the relationship, the woman allegedly plotted the crime with a quotation gang and her current boyfriend. The incident occurred on Wednesday, and the youth was kidnapped in a car owned by Lakshmipriya's current boyfriend.

It is reported that the women subjected him to a vicious assault. According to his statement, they struck him repeatedly on the back using a bangle and a ring until he lost consciousness. They also used a bat to hit him and kicked him in the stomach. When speaking to the media, he mentioned that Lakshmipriya had recorded the incident on video.

Lakshmipriya is named as the first accused in the case, and earlier, police had arrested Amal, a native of Ernakulam, as the eighth accused. According to the police, a total of eight people, including Lakshmipriya, were involved in the attack on the youth, and six of them are currently absconding.
