Another wasted effort from makers of `Zamana'. Two wooden dolls on screen Nithin and Jackie Shroff are the barricades for this film that has wafer thin story. Attractive is the technical aspects of this film. The editing and cinematography add up to the sagging image of this film.

A software guy Anil (Nithin) with curly hair and thick beard always look like a drama company artiste. He for the sake of winning the heart of Swathi (Akarsha) bashes up Mooga who dash her in the public place. That is the dash of Anil to the underworld.

When Anil quarrel with Mooga the underworld don the opponent gang make use of this situation and kills Mooga that lands Anil in the prison. Another sky looking sun glass wearing bails out Anil but he is forced to be in the underworld. Enters Ramakanth Thyagi who speaks Kannada with great difficulty and in live program he fix the politician for the underworld activities and gang war.

Nithin should know acting first. Jackie Shroff should stop dubbing Kannada. Even the British were better in the past in speaking Kannada. Akarsha is not attractive. Karthik Raja music is well below average. What is the new addition director makes in `Zamana' no one knows because all are obsolete scenes. Look for better entertainment.
