Aishwarya Rajinikanth has returned to the film industry and is set to direct her upcoming movie ‘Lal Salaam’, marking her comeback after eight years. In February 2022, news broke of a theft at the residence of Aishwarya Rajinikanth, daughter of legendary Tamil actor Rajinikanth. The initial complaint lodged by Aishwarya with the police stated that cash, gold, and diamond jewelry worth around Rs. 1.25 crore were stolen from her house. She suspected that her maid and driver, who had access to the safe in which the valuables were kept, were responsible for the theft. The police, acting on the complaint, arrested the maid and driver and recovered a significant amount of stolen goods, including land documents valued at Rs. 95 lakh, 100 sovereigns of gold, 30 grams of diamond, and 4 kilos of silver.
