Ramalakshmanan Muthuchamy, professionally known as Soori, is an Indian actor and comedian who predominantly appears in Tamil film industry.

He is best remembered for his performance in the movie Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu in 2009, which incidentally was also his first credited role. Soori`s nickname "Parotta Soori" came after a scene in the movie Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, which involved his character participating in a parotta eating competition

Soori played the main protagonist in director Vetrimaaran's period crime thriller Viduthalai Part 1 (2023). His performance garnered highly positive appreciation by critics as well as audiences.
