The shoot for the new Malayalam movie ‘Sarkar Colony’ got completed in a short span of 23 days. A thorough commercial fare with 23 artistes, the movie was completed in a single schedule amidst heavy rains.

Featuring Mukesh in the lead, the movie also has Devayani making a comeback to Mollywood.

'It was only through proper planning that we could achieve such a feat, explained Aroma Mohan, the production controller of the movie. Directed by V S Jayakrishnan, the movie tells the tale of a group of government officers who are into side businesses to make extra income.

Jagadheesh, Ashokan, Suraj, Sona Nair, Narayanankutty and Kottayam Nazeer are also in the cast of the movie.
