1.5 million volunteers gathered along the Narmada River basin to plant around 66 million saplings, all in just 12 hours! The famous Guinness world record officials are said to have reviewed the plantation of this remarkable feat which surprassed the previous record held by UP last year as they planted 50 million trees. The drive officiated by MP government is in lieu with Prime Minister Modi`s commitment at Paris climate deal to decrease carbon emission and increase forests across the country.
