Jayasuriya who is passing through some bright points in his career after two back to back hits will be soon seen playing a naive villager in the movie titled curiously as Lal, Bahadur Shasthri'. Directed by Rejish Midhila, the movie will have Jayasurya, Nedumudi Venu and Aju Varghese in the title roles of of Lal, Bahadur and Shasthri respectively.

Planned as a fun film, with some thriller elements, the movie will tell about three total strangers who meet at a point of time to complete an unique mission. The story of the movie is also helmed by animator turned director who believes that the viewers will be able to identify his down to earth characters very easily.

Eldho Issac will crank the camera, while Bijibal composes the music for the film which will be on sets by July 20.
