Malayalam Actor Dileep who was arrested on Monday at 6:30 p.m in connection to the conspiracy behind actress abduction and sexual assault, has been sent to Aluva sub-jail amidst tight security. The actor has been remanded to 14 days judicial custody.The court will consider his bail plea on wednesday.

Reportedly, the conspiracy to abduct the actress was hatched several years back` and carried out recently. Police sources say that Dileep hired a criminal, Pulsar Suni, to abduct and assault the woman actor, over personal enmity and real estate dealings. The incident has sent shock waves in the state.
