The new youth icon of Mollywood, Asif Ali was injured yesterday while attempting a rope jump. He was shooting for his latest action thriller 'Asuravithu' directed by A K Saajan at Wellington Island at Kochy.

Asif ali was opting to shoot the jumping scene, all by himself instead of engaging the dupe artist, due to his concern for originality. The actor suffered injuries in his left hand as he slipped down from the rope. Asif was immediately taken to the Lakeshore shore hospital at kochy and was advised rest.
