In a test` security check, security personnel at the Delhi airport failed to detect a fake bag of explosives.
The test is part of dummy checks that the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has been conducting in many airports, including Delhi.
In the test the CISF failed, civil aviation officers easily carried a bag containing parts of an explosive device sand detonator. The explosives went undetected even during hand baggage checks. At this point, the CISF was informed of the test and how it had flunked it.
BCAS officers will submit a report to show the loopholes in security and said they conduct checks regularly to check the alertness of the security force.
