The icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar burst out of tears for quite sometime at the cremation of top villain of Kannada cinema Vajramuni on Thursday afternoon. He has been a household name and played many roles. I can only give final salute to him. Let the god give courage to their family to lead further life. Dr.Rajkumar after placing the garland and touch the face of demised Vajramuni expressed his deep felt feelings.
The contemporary actor to Vajramuni, the veteran Srinivasamurthy remembers the wonderful nature of his professional friend. He was a fine personality off screen. He earned the title of 'Nata Bhairava' because of immaculate style of dialogue delivery. He was perfect in his diction that he earned it from stage plays. Vajramuni was the No.1 villain of Kannada cinema for 35 years. When fell ill his wife and children looked after him like a child. That is once again something wonderful attitude of his family added Srinivasamurthy.
Veteran director Bagwan remembers Vajramuni as a fine human being. As President of Jayanagar cooperative bank he has been instrumental in providing sites for more than 100 artistes and technicians in Padmanabhanagara in Bangalore. On the sets he was most cooperative. There was no complaint from his and he always respected the work but not the money says Bagwan.
