'Bheemaa': thundering opening

IndiaGlitz [Monday, January 14, 2008]

The confidence of 'Bheemaa' team is vindicated. The movie, which hits the screen after a lot of troubles and struggles, has been received by the audiences with overwhelming response. The seats for the first few days have been booked within a few hours of the opening of the reservations, inform the theatre sources.

Bheemaa's opening is second only to that of 'Sivaji'. The queues in front of the reservation counters, flood of telephonic enquiries, and heavy traffic over internet bookings are clear indications of the success of the movie.

Sathyam Cinemas screen nine shows a day till January 20. There will be five shows daily at the big screen in addition with daily morning shows in four small screens.

In Abirami complex, 'Bheemaa' tickets are said to be sold out for the first four days all four shows in two screens.

Mayajaal multiplex has an incredible number of shows, i.e., 30 shows per day spread in 9 screens.

With all this, 'Bheemaa' is clearly ahead of the rest of the Pongal movies.
