The veteran actress of the industry four decades ago, Dr. Leelavathi has come up with a hospital for the Bangalore rural people living in Soldevanahalli near Nelamangala. This six bed hospital built on 100x100 land areas will be looking after the grave need of general check up for the residents of Soldevanahalli and later at the same place the operations will be conducted for various diseases, said Dr.Leelavathi's son Vinodraj on Wednesday afternoon. Next to this hospital, a separate building has come up for veterinary hospital as the cattle population is enormous in Soldevanahalli surroundings.

The first free camp for the people of Soldevanahalli was held last Wednesday where a mobile dentist shop came to the help of needy people throughout the day.

The prominent actress Dr.Leelavathi has taken up this Rs.30 lakh hospital construction from the proceedings she recurred after selling her land in Chennai.

Dr.Leelavathi during the trio function on last Wednesday – in the premises of the first medical camp in the hospital, released the audio album of the home production starring her son Vinodraj 'Yaradhu'. This album was released to the market by local MLA Nagaraju. Another devotional album 'Bhakthanjali' sung by Vinodraj was released by veteran journalist PG Srinivasamurthy. Both the audios are being marketed by Leela Audio.
