Known for acting in films with different storylines ('Thavamai Thavamirundhu', 'Pattiyal', 'Pokkisham', 'Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam'), Padmapriya seems to have changed her priority now.

The actress, according to reports, will henceforth concentrate on 'commercial films', in a bid to reach the masses in a big way. "At the same time, I will act in performance oriented roles too," she was quoted saying.

"I have acted in many a film which gave me enough scope to perform. I would now like to concentrate on commercial movies as market for such projects is bigger when compared to other ventures," she added.

An MBA graduate who was working with a MNC, Padmapriya shifted gears to acting thanks to her passion. "I am happy that I was able to bag different kind of roles so early in my career. The roles I played in Hindi film Striker and Mollywood's Pazhassi Raja are perfect examples," she said.

It is five releases this week!
