A film with the existing place name (like how Dhandupalya was picked for film title) 'Ghoolihatti' went on the floors on Friday morning at Kanteerava studios. Raghavendra Rajakumar pillar of Dr Rajakumar family graced the muhurut. Another veteran director, actor and producer S Narayan was also present to wish good luck for 'Ghoolihatti' team.
The surprise was former minister and present Member of Legislative Assembly Ghoolihatti Shekar present for the launch, discussing on the subject and also agreeing to appear in a guest role. 'Ghoolihatti' is a village name in Chitradurga district of Karnataka state.
Director Shashankraj is using this title for the force like how he picked for 'Uda' Kannada cinema. I am tagged as failure director from the previous four films. I have worked very hard on this film subject and given training for the lead actors from last one month.
'Ghoolihatti'...with a caption Tundhaikla Hazara reminds Yogaraj Bhat song line is shooting at Ghoolihatti village in the pre climax scene.
