 This film marks actor Madan Patel's comeback into direction. Love Story is a remake of the old Hindi film Ek Dujhe Ke Liye which starred Kamal Hassan.
Therefore, this is yet another old story in a new look. The story is about how two individuals from different backgrounds and languages fall in love.
This film was to be Mayur's debut but has been delayed a great deal. The actor has already had a couple of releases prior to Love Story. The film will also see Mayur in a completely different look, especially since all his previous roles have been action oriented. Bengali girl Tanu Roy will make her debut in the Kannada film industry.
