On last 25th, India lost a Rashtriya Rifle from the 44th battalion; it was the day when late Major Mukund Varadarajan bravely pledged his life in Kashmir to save his country from a militant encounter attack. He was cremated with due military respect and his loss deeply mourned by all fellow citizens. But little did Arsheya know that her father will never come back again, when she wished him "goodnight" at his cremation. Ilayathalapathy reached out to his young fan to give her a hearty laugh. We had already reported that Vijay met the Late Major's daughter. Here's the details of how it happened.

Chennai based social activist and environmentalist Abdul Ghani was just as moved and disappointed as everyone else who met in Tuesday to condole the Major's sad demise. On the family's way back home, Ghani noticed that 3-year old Arsheya suddenly sprung up from her slumber on hearing Ilayathalapathy's 'Tamil Pasanga' song from ' Thalaivaa' played on the radio. Ghani soon found out that not only Arsheya is a great fan of Vijay's, but also that she and her father, the brave Major, watched 'Thalaivaa' together. This urged him to get Ilayathalapathy to meet his little fan. Soon, arrangements were made and Arsheya got to meet Vijay on the sets of 'Kathi'. The two bonded very well and spent nearly an hour together, as revealed by a trusted source. Thus, Vijay has ensured to make Arsheya feel lighter, by making her feel special.
