His films including Indu and Sooriyan went on to collect huge revenue at the box-office. Back after a long gap is Pavithran.

This time he is wielding the megaphone for an action packed entertainer titled Mattuthavani.

The movie starring newcomers in the lead role went to floors recently. Music is by Deva. Mattuthavani is a popular area near Madurai.

With movies set around Madurai doing good at the box-office, Pavithran too has opted to set his movie around Madurai.

Pavithran is keen to complete the movie, has plan for a release this August.
