Shaam's ‘Anthony Yaar’ is fast shaping up in coastal areas of Kaniyakumari district.

The movie, directed by C Vijayakumar, dwells on the life and travails of fishermen struggling to meet their livelihood. Mallika Kapoor plays the female lead in the movie.

According to the director, 'the life and struggle of the fisher folk have been picturised well in the movie. Mallika Kapoor, plays a research student, who comes to know about the difficulties faced by fishermen. She falls in love with Shaam'.

Lal, who plays the baddie, has given his best. He controls the entire coast in the district. Rajesh, Pragathi, Laksha are also in the cast. Dhina has scored music for the movie and cinematography is by Santanio.
