Looks like the ghosts of horror filmmakers like 'Vittalacharya' is haunting Kollywood now. After a string of horror and ghost films that have and are waiting to spook the screens, another film on haunted places is being made. Directed by Rasavikram, ‘Moondru Naatkal’ is a film about a young couple that gets trapped in a bus, in which resides the souls of people who died in the bus accident. How these spirits torment the lovers and how they manage to escape forms the story. The film begins with the bus accident that kills all its passengers.
 
The deadline that the couple receives to escape is three days, thus forming the film’s title. New comers Kumaran and Asina play the lead roles in the movie that is being produced by K Sanjay and NP Chowdary.
 
Owing to the nature of the story, a large part of the film has been shot during night time in Chennai, Neyveli, Kadalur and Virushachalam. Indhiyan composes the music for the film which has cinematography by KV Rajan.
