Presenting you the first look of Aamir Khan's wife Kiran Rao's directorial debut 'Dhobi Ghat'...

The movie had been much in talks for its title, content and its characters. And before the movie could make news on Indian grounds, it grabbed attention from international audience by gracing prestigious festivals like London Film Festival 2010 and Toronto International Film Festival 2010

'Dhobi Ghat' revolves around four different people who reside/visit this popular spot called 'Dhobi Ghat' in Mumbai. Besides Aamir, the film stars Prateik Babbar, Monica Dogra, Kriti Malhotra, Kitu Gidwani and Nafisa Khan in pivotal roles.

While Aamir plays the character of a painter, Prateik reported to be featuring as a washer man.

A banner of Aamir Khan Productions, 'Dhobi Ghat' is all set to release on 21st January 2011.

In an innovative and interactive attempt to promote her maiden venture as a writer-director, Kiran has started sharing with her friends in media by posting postcards which will have her personal notes about her experience in city and experiences while shooting in Mumbai.

Her first postcard was the invite to the launch of the first look of her film.
