With collections on 'Mankatha' still rocketing the box-office and the star busy with work on 'Billa ' with Chakri Toleti, the one question that remains among movie goers and those at the industry is what's next for Thala after wrapping his 'Billa' prequel.

Grapevine has it that Ajith has signed a film with producer AM Ratnam which will start rolling after 'Billa 2'. It is now widely buzzed that AM Ratnam has signed ace director Shankar for this film with thala Ajith.

It is also speculated that the film will be a sequel to Kamal Haasan's super hit 'Indian', which is one of the best blockbusters in Tamil cinema till date. It may be mentioned that the original was produced by AM Ratnam and Shankar had wielded the megaphone as well.

Certain other rumour mills have it that Mahesh Babu's 'Dookudu' that is making waves at the Telugu BO and seeing an international hit might be remade by AM Ratnam with Ajith playing lead, however, certain other stars in Tamil cinema have expressed their wish to do this remake as well and there's no official confirmation as to who will don the lead in the Tamil remake so far.

Well whatever it maybe, Ajith in a big budget with AM Ratnam is on the cards!
