The Green Park Hotel witnessed some glitz and glamour of Kollywood yesterday. The gathering was for the trailer launch for Sarathkumar starrer film '1977', where the hero plays a dual role. The film '1977' is made under the banner of RSK Pictures, a Sarathkumar venture.

The cast and crew of this film include Sarathkumar, Farzana, Namitha, Jayasudha, Vivek, Rohith, Radharavi, Rajkotti, Vijayakumar, and Ilavarasu in the main cast. The director of the film is G.N. Dhinesh Kumar and the producer is the hero Sarathkumar himself. The music of Vidyasagar will grace through out the film.

The '1977' trailer launch function was attended by veteran producer-director Keyar, Producers KRG and R.B. Choudhary, AVM Saravanan, Director K.S. Ravikumar, actors Vijayakumar, Sarathkumar, Dhanush, Abbas, Parthiban, Prashanth, Srikanth. Actresses Radhika Sarathkumar, Farzana, Namitha, Mumtaj, Sandhya, Lakshmi Rai, and Veteran actress Manorama were also present at the trailer launch that took place yesterday, March 14, 2008, at 6 o' clock.
