Ilavarasu is the only cameraman who successfully shifted to acting. He is one of the all time favourite character artiste for all film lovers. His roles in ‘Irumbu Kottai’ and ‘Kalavani’ recently are well received. Ilavarasu was forced to try acting first in ‘Poovellam Un Vaasam’ by director Ezhil. It was a hit and 'Thavasi' which followed didn’t let him go back to cinematography. Today he is here, there every where. In this video he narrates his transition and his acting life today.
