 Selvabharathy is known for churning out movies laced with emotions and humor. His forthcoming release Pasupathy C/O Rasakapalayam, to be released this weekend, is no different.
The movie features Ranjith, Sindhu Tholani and Vivek in prominent roles. Speaking about the film, Ranjith, said, "It is a movie that dwells on motherhood. Selvabharathy has taken an emotional theme but laced it with humor all through".
 Ranjith dons the role of a youth, who does petty jobs in a police station, where Vivek is a constable. Ranjith comes across a girl and his life changes. His mother develops a cardiac arrest and Ranjith is forced to arrange money for her medical expenses. How he manages to save his mother's life forms the crux Selvabharathy says and adds, "A major portion of the movie was shot in rural areas of Tamil Nadu. Coming to know about the movie's theme, villagers came forward and helped us to shoot the movie without any hassle".
The climax was shot for over a week. It conveys a strong message to today's youth, he says.
Deva has scored the music, while Selvabharathy has penned a song that glorifies motherhood.
Vivek, who appears all throughout the movie, said, "It is a not a movie but a lesson for every youngster today. Selvabharathy deserves a pat for dishing out such a thoughtful movie".
